Goodies
Freebies make the world go 'round!
The items in this list have been created by me and donated to the
Second Life community for free usage.
In-World Goodies
You can get these from my Omni-Jar,
which is a tip jar, landmark dispenser, goodie giver, (and subtle online indicator), all in one prim! You can find
these near my
vendors, where allowed. Sometimes, it looks like a Barrel O' Goodies.
Out-World Goodies
- Tutorials
- the tutorial page!
- Permission Marks
- a
layered PSD (ver 7) file with green circle and red-slash circle C M and
T (should be obvious what those stand for), to be placed on vendor
images.
note: this image has been released to the public domain. use and distribute at will.

I shall now take this opportunity to be a
Copyright Cop and remind
everyone that the web is NOT your personal clip art file. Unless
you
find a site that specifically states you may use the images (or sounds,
animations, etc) in commercial applications, you are violating
copyright law if you upload it into 2L and use it in items you
sell. "Royalty Free" does not mean free to use -- it means you
pay a one-time fee for usage. Please read the site agreements and
restrictions before downloading.
Additionally, the 2L redistribution restrictions for textures are
spotty at best. If you buy a texture pack, do NOT give away copies to
your friends, family, groups, or anyone who asks. Do not re-sell
them. Do not try to rip textures from objects by taking screenshots of
them. 2D artists are creators as well -- imagine how you would feel if
someone used a copy-bot to steal your objects without buying them from
you!
With that said, there ARE places you can get
free textures that are cleared for commercial usage. Remember to
read the terms of use, they are quite fair.
Inkscape is a free, open source vector drawing program, affiliated with Open Clip Art.
Gimp, of course, is the free pixel-based image editing tool. Both can be used to create textures and images for Second Life.
If you want SOUNDS, I suggest you visit Lorin Tone
at Lorin's Sound Shack in-world for all your sound needs. When he
isn't swamped trying to find yawning hippos for me...(!?) he
occassionally has time to do custom requests.

I'm a star! (er, at least a co-star.) Yes, participant in the first ever live broadcast
Giant Snail Race!
Sadly, they only seem to have the last half of the race. But you
get to see me fall off the race course TWICE! And see a shot of
the crowd looking so depressed as i apparently meet my demise 500
meters in the murky water below. and i want to point out that the
second fall was NOT an SL glitch! no, im JUST that fast hitting
the teleporter to get back up there! (and if i'd'a known
beavis didnt finish his last lap, i might run faster ahead of
him!!! dang.) anyway, good for lotsa laughs,
thrills... and fireworks. :)
Directed by Rocksea Renegade for MadPeas
Productions. I play the male agent without glasses. I'm the
one in the snake pit, which is so dark, you can't see anything at all,
especially with those Men-In-Black style suits. Rocksea does good
stuff, though. And she says I'm VERY good at taking
direction. However, the pay is terrible, so I haven't signed up
to do any more acting!
Doc films
me vs Ultimate World Champion Mich. In which I get creamed soon as he gets... "The Scottish Card" ::shudder::
